Our In-House Wound Care Facilities service is designed for healthcare organizations that want to build or strengthen internal wound programs with guidance from a seasoned wound-care NP. Rather than relying solely on outside referrals, we help your team deliver high-quality care within your own walls.
We start with an on-site assessment of your current processes, supplies, staffing, and patient population. From there, we help design practical protocols, rounding structures, documentation standards, and product use pathways that match your formulary and acuity level. Our team travels to your facility to work directly with leadership, bedside nurses, therapists, and ancillary staff.
We provide hands-on training for procedures that often intimidate clinicians, such as sharp debridement, skin and bone biopsy coordination, and the use of skin substitutes or adjunctive therapies. We also guide appropriate referral for hyperbaric oxygen therapy, systemic antibiotics, and collagen or other regenerative treatments.
When your staff encounters complex cases or diagnostic uncertainty, we can consult on individual patients in-house, either on a per-case basis or under a monthly agreement. This helps avoid unnecessary transfers while maintaining safety.
By building strong internal systems and confidence among your wound team, your facility can reduce pressure injury incidence, shorten healing times, and improve regulatory and patient-satisfaction outcomes, all while keeping care closer to home for your community.
