Wound Care Services

Wound Care Services

Our Wound Care Services are designed for patients and facilities that need more than routine dressing changes. We focus on complex, chronic, surgical, and high-risk wounds that demand precise clinical decision-making and consistent oversight.

Under the direction of our Certified Wound Specialist Nurse Practitioner and Hyperbaric Oxygen Safety Director, we manage pressure injuries, diabetic and ischemic ulcers, venous leg wounds, surgical dehiscence, trauma wounds, and atypical lesions related to cancer or autoimmune disease. We offer home visits so patients who are fragile, bedbound, or post-operative can receive hospital-level care without leaving their residence in Midlothian, TX.

For hospitals, LTACs, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, and long-term care settings, we design and implement full wound programs. This includes protocol development, formulary-based product selection, support-surface and positioning guidance, and efficient rounding structures that reduce missed wounds and documentation gaps.

We assist with wound team recruitment, wound cart organization, and staff education that ranges from foundational principles to the management of highly atypical wounds. We also train clinicians to interpret advanced microbiology, including MicroGen cultures, and coordinate access to compounding pharmacies for targeted topical antibiotics.

When cases exceed a facility's current comfort level - for example, rapidly deteriorating ulcers, suspected osteomyelitis, or complex oncology-related wounds - we provide higher-level consultation and direct care. Our goal is to improve healing rates, reduce avoidable transfers, and support both patients and staff with reliable, evidence-based wound management.
